Pictures of Our Place (March 2009)

Here are a few of the pictures I took while on my walk. It was earlier this March (I think) and it was a pleasent day for March. I thought it would be great to get outside, enjoy the day, and grab a few wonderful pictures of our wonderful planet!

Inaugural Post!

Wow, finally got this weblog up and running. I've needed to get this done for some time; postponing it was perhaps not the most prudent decision. The only question remains, what shall I place up? Ahh, there in lies the rub. I think pictures of my place will be a great addition to this new blog. Although the winter is over and the greens of spring have yet to surface; our farm (particularlyk the woods) was still beautiful.

During the spring, as you may see eventually, the entire scene of our land changes into a world of green. The trees around our house have a lot of family history. My grandfather was a Tree Farmer and helped plant the trees. Before him, the land lacked these trees; I cannot imagine how appealing the property would be without them. It is wonderful to have them all. The pine trees are simply wonderful after years of growing.

Aside from trees I may include a few images of our pets. The youngest pet is a Carin terrier, she is still quite cute despite being a growing puppy.

I may also add some pictures of the cows in the area...
